With forecasts indicating the potential of snow accumulations of 2 inches, the City of Bowling Green reminds residents of parking restrictions that go into effect with a city snow emergency. A snow emergency within the City will automatically be implemented if 2 inches of snow accumulates, which begins the implementation of no parking along snow streets.
Any vehicle parked on a snow street must be removed within two hours of the snow emergency being declared. Vehicles parked in violation of snow regulations are subject to towing at the owner’s expense and/or a citation. Even if you don’t live on a snow street, it is very helpful to remove vehicles from the street whenever possible. Doing so will expedite the removal of snow along the roads.
Designated streets and other winter regulations are posted to the City’s website, www.bgohio.org.
