Columbia Gas update
In conjunction with the Columbia Gas project, East Oak St., from North Main to North Prospect, will be closed to traffic from 7:00 am until 6:00 pm through Friday, July 13. On-street parking on East Oak St. will be restricted throughout the week as well. Crews will also be saw cutting and installing the new medium pressure natural gas line on N. Main, from E. Oak to E. Court this week. This work is planned to occur until Friday, July 13. On Saturday, July 14, E. Court St, from Main to City Parking Lot 1, will be closed to traffic. Access to Parking Lot 1 from Prospect will be maintained during this day closure.

Firefly Nights Festival – July 20
In conjunction with the July Firefly Nights Festival scheduled for July 20, certain street closures and parking restrictions will be imposed in downtown Bowling Green.
Beginning at 2:00 pm on Friday, July 20, on-street parking will be prohibited on Main Street.
At 4:00 pm on Friday, July 20, Main Street, between Court St. and Washington St., will be closed to vehicular traffic. While Main Street is closed, no through traffic will be permitted on Clough Street. Wooster Street will remain open for east and westbound traffic throughout the festival.
During the Main Street closing, detour routes for local and truck traffic will be posted.
All streets will reopen and parking will be reinstated on Friday following the event.
