Upcoming Public Meetings:
- Human Relations Commission is scheduled to meet March 2 at 8:00 am in Council Chamber, 304 N. Church St.
- Public Lands and Buildings Committee of City Council is scheduled to meet March 3 at 8:00 am in Council Chamber. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss Chapter 113 of the Codified Ordinances pertaining to peddlers, solicitors, and itinerant merchants (food trucks).
- City Council is scheduled to meet March 5 at 7:00 pm in Council Chamber.
Charter Review Committee
The City of Bowling Green has formed a Charter Review Committee, chaired by Shannon Orr and Jeff Crawford. The membership of this committee consists of 17 residents of Bowling Green representing each ward.
The Charter Review Committee will be examining the City Charter in its entirety over the first part of 2018. The Committee has set two public forums to take resident input and answer questions. The public forums have been scheduled for March 13 at noon and March 15 at 7:00 pm – both at the Community Center, 1245 W. Newton Rd.

Brown Bag Music Series
The Brown Bag Music Series continues this Friday, March 2 from 11:45 am to 1:00 pm at the Simpson Building, 1291 Conneaut Ave! Come and have your lunch while enjoying a musical performance in a comfortable and warm setting. This week’s performance will be “An afternoon with Chris and Ellen Scholl”! Drinks and desserts will be available for purchase.
