Stolen Police Division uniforms

It has been widely reported that Bowling Green Police Division uniforms were stolen this past weekend from the dry cleaners where they were being laundered.  While uniforms were stolen, badges and nameplates were not among the items taken.  Any officer for the BGPD will have a badge over their left breast pocket and a nameplate over their right breast pocket.  The BGPD badge is distinctive in that the police station is superimposed on it along with the city seal.  All officers carry division identification as well.

Anyone who has concerns may call the Police Division at 419-352-1131.  The public is encouraged to call Detective Brian Houser at 419-352-1131 or the Wood County Crime Stoppers at 419-352-0077 if they should have any information that may be helpful with the investigation.
