Full-Time and Non-Temporary Part-Time Positions

(Pay Band 7: $72,238 – $101,000)
Salaried, exempt full-time upper management position responsible for the direct supervision of Finance Department and Income Tax Division staff. Serves as Chief Financial Officer of City operations. Reports on financial matters; certifies availability of funds; monitors budgets, payroll, and investments. Represents the City on the Property and Liability Insurance Public Entity Pool and serves as one of the City’s representatives on the health insurance pool; countersigns all debt issuances; negotiates financial and union contracts. PROGRAMMER / PROGRAM SUPERVISOR SPORTS PROGRAMS
Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Department

The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department is seeking an individual to join the programming staff and work with youth girls and boys ages 3 ½ through 14. The position will require flexible availability both afternoons and evenings with mainly weekend assignments. The hours for this temporary position will average 6-25 per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, organizing and teaching/coaching multiple sport and recreational activities, sport camps; and scorekeeping and officiating. Background in basketball, baseball/softball and volleyball is helpful as well as a general knowledge of other youth sports; and a genuine interest in working with youth is needed.
REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with training or practical experience in working with youth, and must have the ability to relate to and motivate young children. Applicants must have a reliable source of transportation.

The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department is seeking motivated outgoing individuals to be a part of the Community Center Fitness and Kiwanis Kids Club team as Programmers working as Fitness Desk Representatives, Kiwanis Kids Club Staff and Special Programmers working as Certified Personal Trainers! The responsibilities of these positions include greeting patrons, assisting patrons with exercise, caring for children, cleaning fitness equipment, ensuring rules are being followed, and providing first class customer service.
