The Personnel Department is responsible for recruitment of personnel, maintenance of employee records, administration of employee benefits and coordination of same with State and Federal laws, negotiating and administration of union contracts, and administration of the City’s employee safety program. Barbara Ford is the City’s Personnel Director. She has held this position since December 1994.
