Variety Day Camp

Location: Bowling Green Community Center

Join us for our exciting Variety Day Camp at the Bowling Green Community Center.  Participants will get to enjoy much of what Bowling Green Parks & Recreation has to offer this Summer in this CAMP THAT EMPHASIZES BOTH FUN & SAFETY! Space is limited.  Please read over mandatory camp rules listed below before registering.  We thank you for your cooperation in advance to help make this a safer and more enjoyable summer for everyone.

MANDATORY GUIDELINES FOR VARIETY DAY CAMP

  • We will be operating under a reduced staff to child ratio of 9 children to 1 instructor per room.
  • Employees and camp participants are required to stay home if symptomatic.  Daily symptomatic checks will be conducted upon arrival.
  • Kids will be assigned spaces that are amply spaced apart.  They will be provided with their own activity supplies that are not to be shared.  Cloth face coverings will be worn by ALL STAFF & ALL PARTICIPANTS indoors unless a signed letter of a medical professional is submitted on letterhead stating that the child cannot wear a mask for medical reasons.  This is for the protection of the campers and the staff who may have pre-existing conditions.  We thank you for your cooperation in this matter.  In outdoor settings when the kids will be spaced out in greater distances for activities, masks may be removed.
  • Day camp participants must wash hands immediately upon arrival and before departure each day, as well as when instructed throughout the day.
  • Day Camp providers must immediately send home any child or employee who has a temperature of 100 degrees or higher.  This individual may not return until they are fever free for 24 hours, without the use of fever-reducing medication.  If the individual has had contact with someone confirmed or probable to have COVID-19, he or she must complete isolation or quarantine procedures in coordination with the local health department prior to returning to the program.
  • Any camp behavior that clearly violates our guidelines, put in place to provide a safe environment for all, may result in immediate expulsion from camp with no refund provided.
