“Exercise is a big question mark that is there each and every day. It asks you are going to be a wimp, or are you going to be strong today?” -Peter Maher
Fitness Philosophy
In my opinion, fitness should be a way of life, not another item on a long list of things to do. Earning health and physical fitness throughout a lifetime of proper diet and quality exercise will enable individuals to be active throughout the entirety of their lives.
Training Style
I enjoy the experience of working with individuals and developing programs to meet their specific needs. Most importantly, I like to be able to share in the excitement that comes with the progress that is made as a result of hard work.
Experience/History
I became personally involved with fitness in 1990 and have only grown to love it with each year that passes. It was not until 2004 that I realized how much I would enjoy fitness as a career and began working with Bowling Green Parks and Recreation. I received my Personal Training Certificate through AFAA in 2005, and attend fitness conferences on a regular basis.
Personal Interests
In the world of fitness, my specific interests are endurance training, weight gain and weight loss programs. I enjoy participating in Adventure racing, running, cycling, and weight training.
Weaknesses
Red Bull, the snooze button.
“Fitness is a journey, not a destination. It must be continued for the rest of your life.” -Dr. Kenneth Cooper
