Columbia Gas of Ohio has provided the City with the following tentative work schedule for the continued installation of the natural gas line installation occurring downtown.
Beginning August 16, crews will be working on West Wooster St – specifically the alley just east of the Bowling Green Police Division. Additionally, crews will be on the western portion of the 100 block of South Main St. This work will result in parking restrictions and possible traffic impacts. The work within the 100 block of South Main St is anticipated to last through Saturday, August 18. The work within the alley off of West Wooster St is anticipated to last through August 25, including both Saturdays.
On August 17, Clough St from Main to Prospect will be closed to through traffic. Access to City Parking Lot 2 will remain open from Prospect. Parking restrictions within the work zone on Clough St will occur.
On Monday, August 20, crews will be installing natural gas service lines on East Wooster, from Main to Circle K. This work will result in the closure of the eastbound lane of traffic. Also beginning on August 20, crews will begin installing the natural gas main line along the eastern portion of South Main St, from Washington to Pearl St. All of this work is anticipated to last through August 25.
Restoration crews will continue work within City Parking Lot 1. Once they are complete in Lot 1, the focus will shift back to North Main St, from Court to Wooster.
