In recognizing the challenging times of our local businesses, the City has implemented modified guidance to allow for the expanded use of temporary signage, outdoor dining, and the use of parking lots for business activities.
A DORA is a designated public area where alcoholic beverages can be purchased from permitted establishments and consumed outside within the district. It positions the community as a vibrant destination for entertainment, culture, and activity. Safety and cleanliness are priorities of the Bowling Green DORA.
Bowling Green Mask Ordinance FAQS
The Bowling Green City Council passed an emergency ordinance, effective July 14, requiring residents and visitors to wear a face covering. The move is aimed at slowing the spread of COVID-19. The law requires face coverings to be worn in enclosed areas with others. This includes grocery stores, retail stores, pharmacies, health care facilities, libraries, bars, restaurants and public transportation.
