Important notes:

• The following dates are subject to change due to weather or other circumstances. Watch for additional details in the newspaper or call the public works department at 419-354-6227.
• If a holiday falls on a Saturday, the city will observe the holiday on Friday. If a holiday falls on a Sunday, the city will observe the holiday on Monday. This will affect the refuse collection schedule.

Monday Holidays

• All refuse collection delayed one day and Districts IV & V collected on Friday.

Friday Holidays

• Districts IV & V collected on the Thursday before the Holiday.

Other Holidays

January
Holiday - Tuesday, January 1st (Solid Waste Delayed)
Holiday - Monday, January 21st (Solid Waste Delayed)
Christmas Tree Pickup during the entire month of January.

February
Holiday – Monday, February 18th (Solid Waste Delayed)

April
Remove Winter Decorations from Oak Grove Cemetery by April 11th.
Spring Brush Pickup - Beginning the Week of April 14th.  All brush MUST be curbside on Monday, April 14th.

May
Heavy Item Pickup - Begins May 5th
Holiday – Monday, May 26th (Solid Waste Delayed)

June
Alley Maintenance For Entire Month.  Work Includes Tree Trimming and Removal of Weeds From Right-of-Way.  All Wards - Beginning in Ward I

July
Holiday -  Friday, July 4th (Solid Waste Altered)

August
Heavy Item Pickup - Week of August 11th

September
Holiday - Monday, September 1st (Solid Waste Delayed)

October
Fall Brush Pickup - Beginning Monday, October 6th.  All Brush MUST be curbside on Monday, October 6th.
Fall Leaf Collection - Begins October 20th

November
Holiday - Tuesday, November 11th (Solid Waste Delayed)
Decorations must be removed from Oak Grove Cemetery By November 14th.
Holiday - Thursday, November 27th (Thursday AND Friday pickup on Friday, November 28th)
