Temporary Itinerant Merchant/ Solicitor/Vendor Permit

Temporary itinerant merchants, solicitors/ and vendor are required to have a permit to sell items in the City of Bowling Green. This provision includes the selling of wares door-to-door.

Chapter 113 of the Codified Ordinances identifies those solicitation activities that require a permit and the specific guidelines to apply for a permit.

There is a 10-day waiting period (this cannot be waived). There is also a fee to obtain a permit.

Permits are available from the Municipal Administrator’s Office located at 304 North Church Street.
