Advertising in the Public Right-of-Way (Garage Sale Signs, etc.)

You do not need a permit to have a garage sale on your property. However, if you plan to place signs in the public right-of-way (generally the area between the street and the sidewalk), you do need a permit. There is no charge for this type of permit.
