August 4, 2008 Contact: Lori Tretter (419) 354-6204 National Night Out to Cause North Main Street Closure Event Scheduled from 6-10 pm in Downtown BG BOWLING GREEN—North Main Street, between Wooster and Court, will be closed on Tuesday, August 5 from approximately 4 pm to 11 pm in association with the National Night Out. Through traffic will be permitted on both Wooster and Court. On-street parking will be prohibited in the area of the closure. The National Night Out Event will take place on Tuesday evening from 6 pm to 10 pm. The National Night Out is a police-community, crime prevention event that was originally developed over 25 years ago by the National Association of Town Watch. # # # 08-082 |
