June 12, 2008 Contact: Lori Tretter (419) 354-6204 City to “Pause for the Pledge” BOWLING GREEN—The City of Bowling Green will hold its annual “Pause for the Pledge” ceremony on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 10:00 am in front of the Wood County Senior Citizens Center, 305 North Main Street, Bowling Green. Mayor John Quinn will read a proclamation and the Pledge of Allegiance will be recited. Bowling Green is one of thousands of communities nationwide to hold such a ceremony honoring the flag. This is the twenty-sixth consecutive year the event has been held in the city. All citizens are invited to participate. # # # 08-060 |
