BG Paving Program Begins Monday

 

 

BOWLING GREEN—Road work that includes milling, concrete, and excavation will commence the week of April 28 in the following Bowling Green locations:

 

• Fairview: Van Camp to Newton
• Van Camp: Main to Fairview
• Derby: Railroad tracks to Summit
• North College: Merry to Poe
• Pike: Prospect to Enterprise
• Grant: Enterprise to Railroad tracks

 

Driveway access to residents and businesses will be maintained; however, the work may cause limited interruptions to traffic flow and driveway access.  Those traveling in the construction zone should exercise caution.

 

For those roads with on-street parking, temporary “No Parking” signs will be posted in advance of the work. 

 

Trash and recycling pick-up will continue on the normal schedule.  However, the Public Works Division advises residents that pick-up may occur as early as 7:00 am to minimize conflict with the road repair work.

 

This work will be done weather permitting.
