Construction Update

  • Church/Grove/Evers Paving: Complete.
  • Wolfly Sewer Improvement: Complete.
  • Manville/Troup Waterline: Most work is complete on both Troup and Manville.  There is a small portion of the project area on Manville, between Scott Hamilton and Wooster that still requires water service connections and roadwork – the contractor will be working in that area during December and January.  Within this area, the contractor will make the remaining water service connections and fill the excavated areas with concrete for the winter.   These areas will repaved In 2018.
  • Conneaut Ave. Lift Station: The contractor will mobilize for this project during the latter part of December.  This project will encompass construction of a sanitary sewer force main and pump station.  The entire project area will include the area of Conneaut Avenue, between Ketner and Lafayette; however, much of the project will be focused on the area between Wintergarden and Lafayette, which will include deep excavation for the gravity sewer, installation of part of the force main, and construction of the lift station.  These efforts will result in some temporary street closures.  A project timeline will be released soon.  In 2018, once the sewer line and lift station are complete, Conneaut, from Lafayette to Wintergarden will be paved.
