Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
The City Grants Division administers the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program for the residents of Bowling Green. The Community Development Block Grant is provided by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). CDBG funds are used to implement and develop community development and/or housing opportunities to benefit low and moderate income individuals or neighborhoods. Funds are used for housing activities, public services, public facilities, public improvements and economic development.

The City of Bowling Green is an Entitlement Community and receives Community Development Block Grant Funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
