The responsibilities of the Electric Division are to operate and maintain the municipal electric system. Our assignment is to provide a clean uninterrupted power supply at an affordable price to our customers and assist them with their electrical needs. This division maintains the city's street lights and the electrical equipment at the city's wastewater and water treatment facilities. Additional duties include the installation and maintenance of traffic control devices, lift station controls, microwave and fiber optic systems. Division personnel are equipped to assist customers with their power quality requirements and other technical needs related to their electric service.
