Water Rates Effective January 2010
The City recently completed a water utility cost of service study, and rate review. Based on the results of this study, certain adjustments to water rates were recommended over a three-year period to more accurately reflect the cost of providing service while keeping the municipal water utility operating in sound financial condition.
The City of Bowling Green Board of Public Utilities approved and adopted a three-year water rate plan. The first phase of the plan will be effective with utility statements rendered on or after January 1, 2010.
