The following item will be discussed at the next meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals. The Board will meet in the City Administrative Services Building at 304 North Church Street, Bowling Green, Ohio at 7:30 p.m. on the above date.

Approval of the minutes of the November 9, 2011 meeting.
VARIANCE REQUESTS
Gail Perkins, 602 East Gypsy Lane Road, has requested a temporary variance to allow a portable storage unit (POD) to remain on her property until March 31, 2012, which will exceed the 7 days in a calendar year limit.
Douglas Doren, 115 East Court Street, has requested a variance to allow the construction of a sign at this address.
A variance is needed for:
1. Square footage: 95 square feet is proposed; 74 square feet is allowed.
2. The sign projects 11 inches from the building face; 9 inches is allowed.
3. The sign has a moveable part (a pivoting electric arm on a motor), which is not
allowed.
McDonalds, 1050 South Main Street, has requested a variance to allow the construction of a pylon sign at this address.
A variance is needed for:
1. Square footage: 320 Square feet is proposed; 112 square feet is allowed.
2. Encroachment: Sign will encroach 17’ into the required 25’ front yard setback.
3. Height: 34’ high is proposed; 25’ high is allowed.
4. Number of Signs: 5 total signs are being proposed; 3 total signs are allowed.
5. Total aggregate square footage of signs: 388 square feet is proposed; 336
square feet is allowed.
