Planning Commission Minutes – May 5, 2010

The Planning Commission met on the above date at 7:30 p.m. in the Administrative Services Building, 304 North Church Street, Bowling Green, Ohio.

Members Present:  Arnold, Roudebush, Michel, Gaskins, Ash, Burton and Robinette.

Members Absent:   Gaskins and Ferrell.

MINUTES

The minutes of the April 7, 2010 meeting were approved as submitted.

LOBBY VISITATION:  Mayor John Quinn announced that this is Will Roudebush’s last meeting and he thanked him for his years of service on the Planning Commission.  Mayor said Roudebush would be recognized at a City Council meeting this summer.

PUBLIC HEARING

Rezoning for Bentwood Subdivisions from R-2 Single-Family Residential to R-3 Multiple-Family Residential.

Galen Ash said the petitioner has withdrawn his request, according to the letter the City received dated April 26, 2010.

S-DISTRICT SITE PLAN

For proposed Skate Park at City Park located on Conneaut Avenue.

The Planning Commission set this item for public hearing at the June 2, 2010 meeting.

REPORT

Representative to the Zoning Board of Appeals.

Julie Burton said there were two requests.  The first request was to permit a portable on demand storage unit on the driveway for longer than permitted, which was approved.  The second request was to add to a nonconforming structure, which was denied.
