The minutes of the March 11, 2009 meeting were approved as submitted.

Request for Variance

Jennifer Downey has requested a variance on Section 150.59 (A) for a proposed dental clinic at 1060 West Wooster Street to provide 31 parking spaces instead of the required 46 spaces.

The Petitioner requested that this item be tabled to the June meeting.

Ennis moved, Roudebush seconded, that the request be approved.

Motion carried unanimously. 

Erica Sleek, dba All About the Kids, 520 & 522 Ordway, and Charles Koehler, 334 South Maple have requested a variance to allow a child day care center, located at 520 Ordway, to have a total of twenty-six off-street parking spaces, with ten of the spaces being located (per a parking agreement between adjoining property owners, at 334 South Maple and those spaces will encroach thirty-three feet into the required thirty-five front yard setback) at 334 South Maple.  A total of thirty-two off-street parking spaces are required for a child day care center by Section 150.59 (A) and parking in the required front yard setback is prohibited by Section 150.55 (C).

Meyer moved, Calderon seconded, that the request be approved.

Motion carried unanimously.
