Zoning Board of Appeals Minutes

February 11, 2009 at 7:30 p.m., City Administrative Services Building, 304 North Church Street, Bowling Green, OH 43402

MEMBERS PRESENT: Merrill, Meyer, Ennis, Reublin

MEMBERS ABSENT: Calderon, Hess, Roudebush

All minutes of the meeting including all testimony pertaining to the variance requests were recorded by Joan Woessner, Court Reporter, Common Pleas Court, Courtroom Bowling Green, Ohio.  This record is on file and maybe transcribed for the public record.

The minutes of the January 14, 2009 meeting were approved as submitted.

Request for Variance

K & K Properties has requested a temporary variance on Section 150.132

(C ) to allow 425 Clough Street to be occupied by six (6) unrelated persons instead of three (3) as permitted until May 10, 2009. 

Merrill moved, Meyer seconded, that the request be approved.

Motion carried 3-1, with Reublin casting the negative vote.

Glen & Karen Graffice hav requested a temporary variance on Section 150.132 (C) to allow 127 Troup to be occupied by six (6) unrelated persons instead of three (3) as permitted until May 30, 2009. 

Petitioner amended request to be permitted until May 10, 2009.

Meyer moved, Merrill seconded, that the amended request be approved.  Motion carried 3-1, with Reublin casting the negative vote.

Wood County Board of MR/DD has requested a variance on Section 150.59 (A) to allow the number of parking spaces provided to be reduced from 42 to 11 at 1088 Fairview Avenue.

Meyer moved, Merrill seconded, that the variance be granted as requested.

Motion carried unanimously.
