WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT OPERATOR

(Pay Grade 5 - 4/30/2015:  $19.51 – $24.92 per hour)

(WITH A CLASS III OEPA CERTIFICATION: Grade 6 - 4/30/2015: $20.49 – $26.16)

 

Hourly position responsible for oversight of the operation of the wastewater treatment plant, ensuring effluent quality and proper/efficient plant operation. Oversees plant operations; checks equipment; performs lab tests; monitors plant via computer and plant walk through rounds; performs maintenance duties; operates trucks and other equipment; removes Biosolids (hauls sludge); collects samples; attends training; prepares /maintains documentation; performs custodial tasks and other related duties as assigned. The Bowling Green City Pool and Water Park is seeking certified Lifeguards and certified WSI Instructors to join its 2015 summer staff.  PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR CONCESSION OR POOL ATTENDANTS. The rate for Lifeguard is $8.50 per hour and the rate for WSI is $10.25 per class. PART-TIME SEASONAL PARK LABORER - MAINTENANCE

 

The City of Bowling Green’s Parks & Recreation Department is seeking qualified, dependable individuals for its part-time, seasonal maintenance staff.  Pay Range $8.10 - $11.25 per hour, no fringe benefits.   Must be able to work flexible schedule up to 40 hours per week for the full term of the temporary employment including evening and weekends. Pay is $8.10 per hour.  These are part-time, temporary positions without fringe benefits. The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Dept is seeking motivated outgoing individuals to be a part of the Community Center Fitness and Kiwanis Kids Club team as Programmers working as Fitness Desk Representatives, Kiwanis Kids Club Staff and Special Programmers working as Certified Personal Trainers! The responsibilities of these positions include greeting patrons, assisting patrons with exercise, caring for children, cleaning fitness equipment, ensuring rules are being followed, and providing first class customer service.  These positions are part-time temporary positions staffed through a temporary agency with no fringe benefits.
