Programmer (Fitness & Kiwanis Kids Club) - $7.95/hr


Part-time, temporary position(s) staffed through a temporary/leasing agency; no fringe benefits.  This position is responsible for assisting patrons; staffing at the Kiwanis Kids Club and maintaining/cleaning the Bowling Green Training and Community Center (TACC). Ensures safety /satisfaction of patrons; enforces safety rules. Knowledge of community center staffing and fitness programming, and related services

PROGRAMMER- Fall Program


$7.95/hour  (Average 6 -8 hours per week)




The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department is seeking an individual to join the fall programming staff and work with boys and girls ages 3 ½ through 14.   The position will require flexible availability both mornings and afternoons with mainly weekend and some evening assignments.  The hours for this temporary position will average 6-8 per week.  



RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, organizing and teaching/coaching multiple sport and recreational activities; and scorekeeping and officiating. Background in basketball and volleyball helpful; and a genuine interest in working with youth needed.




REQUIREMENTS:  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with training or practical experience in working with youth, and must have the ability to relate to and motive young children.

(Adult Crossing Guard)


Pay:  $10.98/crossing worked, not to exceed $32.94/day)


The City of Bowling Green is accepting applications for on-call adult “Substitute School Police” (Adult Crossing Guards).  Applicants for the position must be available to work at any of the City’s three designated school crosswalks given short notice.  A copy of the locations and times to cover the designated crossings will be provided to applicants. This is a part-time, temporary position without fringe benefits.  Interested persons must complete the application that is available below or that is available in the Personnel Department.  Résumés may be included, but will not substitute for a completed application.
