Special Programmer/Gym Monitor

The City of Bowling Green’s Parks & Recreation department is seeking qualified, dependable individuals for the positions of Special Programmer/Gym Monitor. Responsible for Community Center gym monitoring, light custodial maintenance, set up and tear down in Community Center gym. Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous experience in “gym culture” helpful. Must be able to work under general supervision and have ability to lift 50 pounds. Must hold valid Ohio driver’s license and have First Aid and CPR certifications. Varied schedule including nights and weekends required. Individuals hired will not be City of Bowling Green employees; employment will be payrolled through a temporary agency. The City of Bowling Green is accepting applications for on-call adult “Substitute School Police” (Adult Crossing Guards). Applicants for the position must be available to work at any of the City’s three designated school crosswalks given short notice. A copy of the locations and times to cover the designated crossings will be provided to applicants. This is a part-time, temporary position without fringe benefits.
