Fitness Quote:  “Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being, while movement and methodical physical exercise save it and preserve it.”  Plato

Fitness Philosophy:  You are worth it!  So take 30 minutes (or more) every day to do something for yourself in the area of fitness.  Not only will you notice an increase in energy through-out the day, but you will feel better and increase your quality of life.  Every day we do so much for others in our lives.  Today do something for yourself.

Experience / History:  I was taught as a child to be active and I enjoyed my free time playing basketball, riding my bike, roller skating, and climbing trees.  That love of activity continued through my high school career and into my adult life.  In 2005 I decided to take this passion for fitness and activity to the next level and received my Personal Trainer Certification from W.I.T.S.  I’ve continued my education and now have my Personal Trainer Certification through AFPA.

Training Style:  Each person is unique and deserves a program to fit their needs.  I enjoy working with individuals to find what their goals are and what they enjoy doing.  By having a combination of those two items, I can format a program that will help them achieve their goals.   I like to see people make fitness a part of their every day activities.

Personal Interests:  In the world of fitness, I enjoy running, biking, and weight training.  In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my two children, my family, and my friends.  I love traveling, I’m a huge football fan, and I enjoy my volunteer activities.

Weaknesses:  Shoes, chocolate, and my cell phone.

“If you want me to do something…..tell me I can’t do it.”  Maya Angelou
