Biography

Deb Knuth has served as the Recreation Administrative Assistant for the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department since 1999. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation from Ohio University and a Master of Science Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She has been a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) for the past 17 years. She also has been employed as an Instructor with the Human Movement, Sport & Leisure Studies Department at Bowling Green State University. She has served on a variety of local, state, national and international committees and boards. Deb is an alumnus of the Leadership BG program and a past board representative of the Chamber of Commerce. She has been an American Red Cross FA/CPR/AED/Pro-Rescuer Instructor for the last 19 years. Deb has lived and worked in various places across the nation and currently resides in Bowling Green.
