After School Dodgeball Frenzy

Location: Bowling Green Community Center Gymnasium
Ages: 3rd - 6th Grades

Drop In Fee: $5

This eight week program will run on Fridays from 3:45- 5:15pm.  Teams, consisting of 3rd-6th graders, will be randomly assorted every week.  A supervisor will be on hand to officiate and supervise all participants.  Soft, gator-skin dodgeballs will be used.  Second session will only be six weeks.

March Madness Shootout

Location: Bowling Green Community Center Gymnasium
Ages: 3 and up

Participants will shoot free throws and three pointers for one total score.  Participants will be broken down into age groups.  Special hoops are available for the youngest participants. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each group. Participants will register on site the day of the event.

Soccer Little Dribbler Skills Clinic

Location: Veteran's South Building in City Park
Ages: 4-6

Calling all future World Cup stars - let's work on some fundamentals inside while we wait for spring soccer leagues to begin. We will do fun drills, games and mini scrimmages all to reinforce soccer fundamentals. Participants need to have gone through our Start Smart program or participated in a soccer league so that they are at least familiar and comfortable with soccer basics. All they need is a pair of gym or indoor soccer shoes and shinguards. There is a water fountain available but a water bottle would be a good idea! Registration Deadline: 3/1

D-League Spring Soccer

Location: Dunbridge Road Soccer Fields

Ages: 3-14 Boys and Girls
Cost: $45 if paid by 4/2
          $50 after 4/2

9-10 yrs: Practice Mon & Thu 5:30 - 6:45P (Carter Park), Games Sat 10A
11-14 yrs: Practice Mon & Thu 5:30 - 6:45P (Carter Park), Games Sat 11A

Volleyball League

Location: Bowling Green Community Center Gymnasium
Ages: 4th - 6th Grades

 
*$5 late fee will be assessed after the 2/19/2010 registration deadline.

This ten week program will consist of Tuesday evening practices and Saturday morning games. Practices will begin on March 2nd and games will begin on March 20th. Volunteer Coaches are needed for this program. Trainer volleyballs will be used in this program.  Each participant will receive a t-shirt. 

Volleyball Skills Clinic

A pre-season skills clinic is available for those who sign up on or before the day of the clinics (Feb. 16th and Feb. 23rd 6:30-7:30PM). 

Volleyball Coaches Training

Coaches are trained through the NYSCA program on 3/1/09 6-9pm.   

Start Smart

Location: Veteran's South Building in City Park
Ages: 3 - 5

Prepares children and parents who are new to the sport for organized baseball in a fun and non-threatening environment using fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate equipment.  Parents and children work one-on-one on basic introductory skills during this six week class.  Parents will provide all instruction and skill development for their child, with a facilitator on hand.
