Picnic in the Park

The Wood County Public Library wants to show you and your family that time for family reading is fun! Come to this exciting and hands on program entitled "Dig Into Reading!" Bring your family and your picnic dinner anytime between 5:30-6:30 pm, we will provide drinks and dessert. The program will begin at 6:30 pm.
52nd Annual Pet Show
Location: Needle Hall Stage in City Park
Date: Wednesday, July 17
Time: 7:00 pm
Impress your friends and neighbors, and bond with your favorite pet at the 52nd Annual Pet Show. Back by popular demand, this event will take place on Wednesday, July 17 (rain date July 24) at 7:00 pm on and around the Needle Hall outdoor stage. All legal pets are welcome. 8th Annual Andy Golf Open
Location: Bowling Green Country Club 
Ages: 6-18
Date: Wednesday, August 7
Time: Tee times begin at 8:30 am
Fee: $10 Residents / $13 Non-Residents

The 8th Annual Andy Open is a Youth Golf Tournament for ages 6-18.
Different divisions for boys and girls and ages. A hot dog lunch is
included in registration. Participants must have experience playing or
have at least attended a skills clinic. Golfers must provide their own
clubs and golf balls. Sponsored by the Bowling Green Parks and
Recreation Foundation. Tee times will vary depending on age and numbers
signed up. Participants will be notified the Monday before. Arrive at
least 15 minutes before your tee time. Parent volunteers needed
to assist with groups on the course.
