Race Day Information
Start Time & Location
- 1K Kids Run: 8:30 am
- 5K Race/Walk: 9:00 am
- Both events will begin & finish at the BG Community Center
- Registration for both events opens at 7:30 am
Water Stations and Food
- One water station @ halfway point
- Water/Gatorade station @ finish line
- There will also be plenty of post race food to chow down after your valiant effort out on the road!
Packet Pick Up
Early Packet Pickup!
Sunday 5/16 - Friday 5/21 at the BG Community Center.
Official Couch Potato race t-shirts and Race Packets will be
available for pick up the day of the event in the Community Center
lobby, along with your bib id #. We will have lots of goodies
waiting for you in your race packets!

Post Race
Awards will be given out in the Community Center Gymnasium following the event. The awards ceremony will begin shortly after the last participant crosses the finish line.
Awards
- Overall male/female, overall masters (40+) male/female.
- Age group awards (3 deep). No duplication of awards.
- Male and female age groups:
9 & under, 10-14, 15-19,
20-24, 25-29, 30-34,
35-39, 40-44, 45-49,
50-54, 55-59, 60-64,
65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+ - Overall male/female in 1K kids run receives an award.
- All “Kids Run” finishers receive a finisher’s ribbon.
