What is the Clubhouse?
WHAT IS THE CLUBHOUSE?
Kids can play while the adults workout!
The Kiwanis Kids Clubhouse is a special designated activity area
with a wide assortment of toys, games, and activities to choose from.
Kids can make art projects, play sport games, play with toys or
crawl through new worlds in our toy tunnels!
HOURS
Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 11:00 am
(8 am - 12 pm Mon & Wed beginning 6/21)
Monday-Thursday: 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Saturday: 8:30 am - 11:30 am
Note:
The Kiwanis Kid's Clubhouse often fills to capacity;children are signed
in on a first come, first served basis.
PRICES
Pass Holder- The Kiwanis Kid's Clubhouse is now included with the purchase of a Community Center Annual Pass.
If you already have a pass that was purchased before 11/1/08, you can upgrade for $25. This will inlcude the Kiwanid Kid's Clubhouse until your pass expires.
Non-Pass Holder: $3.50 per hour
$60.00 for 30 hours
STAFF
The staff of the Kiwanis Kids Clubhouse is dedicated to providing a safe, positive and enriching environment for children. They are comprised of energetic and creative recreation and education professionals who love children.
AGES
Children 6 months to 9 years of age!
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Bowling Green Kiwanis Club has generously adopted the child play area of the Community Center, providing most of the equipment and furnishings.
The Kiwanis Kid's Clubhouse also comes with a paging system that benefits you and your children. Children may be in the clubhouse for a maximum of 2 hours!
REGISTRATION
Parents must fill out a medical form for each child on their first visit.
All children must be signed in and out during each visit with proper ID.
Please bring your childcare card or receipt to the Clubhouse and registration forms, if this is the first time the child has visited the Clubhouse. Kids Clubhouse staff will file cards and forms for use.
POLICIES
- No gum or food.
- No child will be allowed to leave with another person (other than the one they came were dropped off by) unless written permission by the parent is given.
- Children should be free of fever and illness for at least 24 hours before coming to the Clubhouse.
- We do not allow small objects or candy to come from home into the Clubhouse due to the wide range of ages permitted to use the area.
- Parent/guardian may be paged to assist with a child if a child becomes ill, has a diaper that needs to be changed, cannot be quieted from crying in a reasonable amount of time, appears to be distressed, or is disturbing other children.
- Actions prohibited by children include, but are not limited to: inappropriate language, running in the room, inappropriate touching, being disrespectful to staff and other children, hitting, playing guns, or name calling.
