Art at the Community Center
The Community Center is not only a place for recreation and fitness, but a place for culture and art. Various artists from the Black Swamp Arts Festival have art that appears in the Community Center. Click on a picture below to view a larger image.
Nails Sculpture

This art piece is made from a conglomerate of nails and metal. It appears directly above the front desk at the Community Center.

4 Corners Mural |
This large mural highlights the 4 corners of Main St. in Bowling Green. It was created at the Black Swamp Arts Festival by various artists who each designed a small square of the mural. The designs were combined together to form the mural that is located near the Multipurpose Room and to the right of the stairs leading to the Fitness Area. |
Glass Mosaic Window

This large glass mosaic window depicts the sun setting on a crane in a marsh. This piece was created by Gail Christofferson. Gail designs all types of glass mosaic art in her studio - Animal House Glass. The art is located in the windows above the KKC and Game Area.

Graphic Art

Daniel Stutzman is a graphic artist from Bowling Green who designs posters for local events, including the Black Swamp Arts Festival Main Stage and Community Concerts at Grounds For Thought. He can be reached at stutzman.dan@gmail.com. The art is located in the hallway across from the PRES Box TV leading to the Fitness Area stairs.
