We’ve been celebrating Bowling Green’s 175th Anniversary all year!

And now it’s time to commemorate this milestone with one last party:

BG’s Grand Finale Celebration

Sunday, December 7, 2008, 1 to 4 p.m.

Woodland Mall, Bowling Green

We will have entertainment, special recognitions, including one for veterans,

crafts and stories for children, commemorative item sales, raffles, special

presentations. And again, as we did in February, we want to have displays by

organizations and agencies from the community. Your group is invited to

participate with a display. You may sell items as long as they’re related to

your mission.

There is no charge for either the party or for having a display. We want this to

be a special acknowledgment of all that our community offers!

Just a few guidelines for displays:

1. The Mall will furnish a limited number of tables and chairs. One table

per group, unless you bring your own.

2. Someone needs to be at the display/table for all three hours

3. First come, first served for space

4. No electricity provided

5. No individual signage provided

Groups must be pre-registered for a display. This gives us the opportunity to

promote the participants. Complete the enclosed form and return to Joan

Gordon, 175th Anniversary Committee chairman, no later than Tuesday,

December 1. Or send the required information to her by e-mail.
